Administrative Assistant
Killingsworth, Inc. is seeking a full-time administrative assistant to work Monday-Friday. Some evenings and weekend are required. The primary responsibility of the administrative assistant is the assist the Executive Director in successfully accomplishing her duties by providing clerical, organizational and program support. Secondary responsibilities include utilizing skills and creativity to promote all fundraising opportunities for Killingsworth and to assist the Fund Development Committee of the Board of Directors when necessary. Other responsibilities include collecting rent and donations. Completing weekly reports and sending thank you letters to donors and maintaining current donor database. And schedule/track support staff and volunteer hours. This position does require working with women in recovery. Applicant should
have a belief system that engages in faith practices that are compatible with those of the United Methodist Church. Must be able to pass standard background checks, including: drug screen, SLED, and a Credit Check is required.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Must be organized with an attention to detail, understand and respect the need for confidentiality and must possess the ability to be both patient and compassionate. Conflict resolution skills required.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel
Excellent customer service skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to walk up and down stairs.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associates Degree or at least 3-5 years experience

Support Staff
Killingsworth, Inc. is seeking multiple part-time support staff persons to work various shifts that could include evenings and weekend. Support staff must maintain the security and safety of the house and residents; offer a positive, supportive and interactive presence. Must have good written and oral communication skills. This position does require working with women in recovery and/or crisis situations. Applicant should have a belief system that engages in faith practices that are compatible with those of the United Methodist Church. Must be able to pass standard background checks, including: drug screen and SLED.
